Quiz: The Great Indian Saag-ah!

Most of our childhoods consisted of the insistent drone of parents demanding that we eat our share of spinach that invariably lay untouched on our plates while we wolfed pieces of yummy chicken. There was always a simple explanation to it — Spinach is what made Popeye stronger. 

Now that we’re adults, leafy vegetables still hold little preference in our lives (at least for the ones who gravitate towards KFC). However, some of us have become way more inclined towards homemade delicacies like Sarso ka Saag, Palak Paneer, or a Kashmiri Haaq, that promise a good share of antioxidants along with their lip-smacking flavours. 

For many (who toe the line of healthy living) salads, consisting of greens like lettuce or spinach or even vegetables such as cabbage, tomato, and peas, make for the perfect brunch on days they feel extra lazy.
