This dish is so tantalizing that any person who is following a strict diet can easily go weak in his knees. Therefore, we bring you the recipe of low-calorie spinach spring rolls which are not only delicious but also healthy. This scrummy spring roll can easily be made in the comfort of your own home. Additionally, you can play around with vegetables, spices and herbs to make it healthier. Everyone from kids to adults will surely enjoy these homemade spinach spring rolls with a twist.
Ingredients:
- 250 gm spinach, blanched and chopped
- ¼ cup spring onion, finely chopped
- ¼ cup fresh coriander, finely chopped
- 1 egg, whisked
- ½ cup Cheese, grated
- 1 tbsp flour
- ½ tbsp water
- 8-20 Spring roll sheets
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Oil
Preparations:
1. Clean and drain the spinach. Make sure none of the leaves are wet or wilted.
2. In a bowl, add spinach, coriander leaves, spring onion, salt, pepper and egg. Mix all these ingredients well. Then add cheese and mix it until it melts.
3. Take spring roll sheets, lay them flat and with a help of a spoon take the prepared mixture, start spreading them on the roll. After this fold the roll in desired shape.
4. In a small bowl add flour and water. Stir it well.
5. Seal the ends of the roll with the help of a few drops of the flour-water mixture or slurry
6. Drizzle some oil on the spring rolls and let it Air fry at 180* for at least 15-20 minutes.
