Talk about a high tea ceremony fit for grandoise and you’d be pointed straight to Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s tea party happening at the The Leela Palace in Lake Pichola, Udaipur! The newly-married couple who exchanged vows earlier on Sunday, hosted a high tea buffet for their guests which catered to just about all kinds of snack cravings those in attendance might’ve possibly had.
An insider clip that has been going viral shows a table decked with bite-sized treats – cucumber sandwiches, potato wedges, dark truffle pastry, freshly baked macaroons and cookies, watermelon gateaux, alu pyaz kachori and falafels with beetroot hummus. The delicious spread also included gourmet delicacies like porcini mushroom open toasties, fruit tarts, potato rosti sliders with charcoal buns and milk cake. If the high tea buffet was a spread worth looking forward to, news is that their wedding menu was a multi-cuisine medley that included everything from dim sums to Old Delhi-style kebabs.

Their engagement cake was also said to be a beautiful ivory, three-tier chocolate cake decorated with delicate flowers. The intimate ceremony that was organised for family and friends saw the actress and politician couple dressed in all-white attire, making it a memorably dreamy occasion. Lavish ferry boats were arranged for the guests to reach the venue that also included celebrities like Sania Mirza, Harbhajan Singh and Manish Malhotra in attendance. What more could one ask for besides a love for food and all things beautiful!
