Nutritionist Combines Broccoli, Raita And More In A Packed Lunch

According to Harvard’s Healthy Eating Plate, a balanced and nutritious meal incorporates a healthy mix of vegetables, fruit, and protein. It is critical that school students and office-going people consume a nourishing lunch given that they need mental awareness as well as well physical fitness to perform their tasks efficiently. It is also recommended that they take a homemade meal to their respective school or office, as home-cooked lunch tends to be healthier than outside food, which could contain preservatives and other processed foods.

In a video uploaded on her Instagram handle, @theclassyfoodophile, nutritionist and home chef Pavitra Kaur smartly assembles and cooks a healthy and delicious meal as she packs her husband’s tiffin for office. Although the video was uploaded merely two days ago, it has already garnered nearly 205,000 likes and over 1500 comments. The comments are especially receptive of the ease of Pavitra’s recipes as well as how the different elements of the meal come together to form a visually colourful medley of flavours.

The meal Pavitra prepares has three distinct elements. The centerpiece of the meal is a cooked broccoli and paneer concoction that she prepares in a pan with various ingredients, such as ghee, mustard seeds, turmeric, chilly leaves, green chillies, and onions. While the broccoli and paneer dish is cooking, Pavitra moves on to the second element of the meal, a mouthwatering beetroot-based raita, which is prepared by blending the beets with homemade curd and masalas. The last element of the dish is a simple salad comprising chopped cucumbers and carrots.

Once the different elements of the dish have been prepared, Pavitra packs them in a cute panda-themed tiffin box. Lastly, she liberally applies ghee on some homemade chapattis and packs those as well. And just like, Pavitra’s nutrients-filled homemade lunch is ready! She ends the video with a note of humour, wondering whether her husband will finish all the food she has so lovingly and meticulously prepared.
