Planning your kid’s birthday bash and jiggled between welcoming drinks? Here are some slushies for the day. These all are filled with the punch of fruit and trust us, your kids will love these bright, colourful drinks. But, first, you need to press the blender button, whizz up with some ingredients and serve in glasses.
1. Raspberry Lemonade Slushie
Grab the raspberries with some ingredients, and you’ll get a quirky glass of freshness.
Ingredients:
- 600g frozen raspberries/ fresh
- 3 lemons (juice)
- Soda water
- Ice cubes
- 3 tbsp honey/agave nectar
Method:
- Take a blender or food processor, put all the ingredients except ice cubes in the jar.
- Once it is done, add ice cubes, divide in between the jars or cups to serve, and garnish it with some chopped nuts or raspberries.
2. Watermelon & Strawberry Slushie
This slushie needs three essential ingredients with no extra nasties. It is delicious and perfect for sipping on summer birthday bashes.
Ingredients:
- 1 small watermelon (deseed, small chunks)
- 200 grams of ripe strawberries (remove the tops, cut into halves)
- 2 lemon (juice)
- Sugar, as per taste
Method:
- To begin this slushie, cut the watermelon into chunks, take a blender jar.
- Add watermelon chunks with halves, strawberry, lime juice, and sugar (optional).
- Blend it until it converts smooth and slushy.
3. Goji and Raspberry Cooler
The drink is busting with tanginess and filled with the goodness of vitamin C, zinc, fibre, and iron. Serve chilled with crushed ice and garnish it with mint leaves.
Ingredients:
- 40g goji berries
- 200g frozen/ fresh raspberries
- 1-inch ginger (peeled and finely grated) you can either use ginger juice
- 1 tbsp honey, as per taste
- Crushed ice
- A handful of mint leaves for garnishing
Method:
- Take a large jug, ad chopped goji berries, raspberries, and ginger into it.
- Pour over 800ml boiled water and leave this to cool naturally, then transfer to the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Starin it with the help of a sieve into a clean jug, add honey to sweeten it.
- Take glasses with half crushed ice, pour the drink and garnish it with chopped raspberries and mint leaves.
