The actor never shies away from showcasing foodie side, her cheat meals and indulgences, yet balances it out with a strict fitness regime. In fact, during the lockdown period, Bhumi turned vegetarian to do her bit for the planet. But that hasn’t stopped her from enjoying some of her favourite meals. And what are they? When a fan questioned Bhumi, “What is your favourite food?”, she confessed to being a big food lover and said, “Can’t pick. Too big a foodie. I love food”. Her response was followed by a short video showcasing her enjoying food at different destinations across the world. The visuals included Bhumi eating a wrap, soup, decadent desserts and sipping on different refreshing drinks. Take a look:

Another fan asked her to choose between ice cream and chocolate, about which Bhumi was quite clear. “Can eat ice cream for breakfast, lunch and dinner”, she wrote in response. Check it out:

Another fan asked her about her regular meals. “What do you eat on a usual day?” the user asked, responding to which the actor shared a collage of images and explained how her meal preferences are different when she’s working and when at home. She also revealed how she is a foodie and has a cheat meal every 8 days. We could spot some curd rice with tomato chutney, a smoothie bowl with lots of berries, banana slices, pumpkin and sabja seeds in the collage she shared. It is evident that Bhumi balances taste with health in her daily diet. “This is only when I’m eating clean. I have a cheat meal every eight days,” she revealed in her story. The actress also said that turning vegetarian was the best decision of her life. “I’m a foodie and vegetarian (best decision ever). But I love clean simple gut-relaxing food when I’m working. But when I’m not it’s everything guilt free,” she concluded.
It seems like we can all take cues from Bhumi’s food diaries. Her way of balancing clean eating and her foodie indulgences is one to take inspiration from.
