Dahi Toast
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serves: 2-3
Ingredients:
1 cup hung curd
1 carrot, grated
¼ cup minced onions
1 tsp chopped green chilies
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
½ tsp pepper powder
Salt to taste
4 slices sandwich bread
½ cup green chutney
Butter
Method:
Mix together the vegetables with the hung curd. Season to taste.
Spread the green chutney on one side of each bread slice. Spread the filling over it.
Cover with the second bread slice.
Brush with butter and grill the sandwich from both sides till crisp.
Atta Dosa
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serves: 2-3
Ingredients:
½ cup whole wheat flour
2 tbsp semolina
2 tbsp rice flour
¼ cup minced onions
1 tsp chopped green chilies
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
½ tsp pepper powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp red chili powder
2 ½ cup water
Oil as needed
Method:
Blend together all the ingredient together to make a free flowing batter and rest the batter for 5 minutes.
Pour ½ cup batter on a medium hot tawa and make dosas. Remove the dosas when crisp and serve.
Vegetable Rosti
Preparation time: 5 minutes
Cooking time: 5 minutes
Serves: 2-3
Ingredients:
1 large potato, grated
¼ cup curd
1 carrot, grated
¼ cup minced onions
1 tsp chopped green chilies
1 tbsp chopped beans
1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
½ tsp pepper powder
Salt to taste
1 tsp Eno Fruit salt
Method:
Blend together all the ingredient, except ENO, with ½ cup water.
Rest the batter for 5 minutes.
Add Eno fruit salt, 2 tbsp water and mix well.
Pour half the batter on a medium hot pan. cover and cook till the underside is crisp.
Flip and cook on the other side as well.
Remove when well cooked and firm.
Cut into wedges and serve.
