Ingredients:
- 250 gm lotus root
- 100 gm pork chicken
- 1 L water
- 100 gm peanuts
- 4 dates
- 3 slices ginger
Method:
- In a large pot, add the root, chicken, ginger, dates, peanuts and water.
- Bring them to boil.
- Once it has boiled, turn the heat to the lowest setting and cover with lid.
- Allow the soup to simmer for at least 2 hours.
