It's Friday again and you are still confused about the weekend dinner. You browse through various food delivery apps but realized you are already broke. You go ahead and search your fridge and find out that the only things available are milk, butter, cheese and mixed herbs. And there it is! You decide to make a bechamel sauce to go along with linguini pasta but the excitement bubble bursts with a sudden blow that you don’t even have a pasta-making machine. And you spend the weekend having basic Dal-Chawal (sobs). We know that you come across such situations often. But as always, Slurrp has got you covered with five easy pasta folding techniques for you to have an Italian course any time you want. Try them out to have no more boring weekends.
You can make homemade pasta dough and can choose any of the following techniques to make pasta at home.
1. Linguini
Roll the pasta dough and allow it to rest for at least 15 minutes. Dust it lightly with flour and fold the sheet into a flattened roll by making 3-inch strips. Take a sharp knife and a ruler and cut 1/8-inch strips across the flattened pasta roll.
2. Lasagne
Roll the pasta dough and dust it with flour. Flatten the rolled dough and cut the uneven edges to form a rectangle. Cut it into strips that are 3-inch wide and 13-inch long.

Roll the dough like that of Lasagne and cut strips that are of the same length but 3/4-inch wide either with a knife or a pastry wheeler.

You need to let the pasta rest for at least 20 minutes before cooking to let them hold their shapes. Make a sauce of your own choice to cook the pasta in and voila!
