Karnataka Milk Federation To Launch Idli-Dosa Batter

Making idli or dosa is an easier task than preparing a batch of batter for them. First, you have to soak the ingredients for 6-8 hours, then leave the batter to ferment for 6-8 hours. Even if you have followed the two steps, there is no guarantee that you have prepared a fail-proof batch of batter. Enters ready-to-cook batter.

If you are in Bengaluru craving idli or dosa, you will be able to make it instantly. Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) is going to launch ready-to-cook idli-dosa batter, making it easier for you to prepare an authentic South Indian meal without investing time in soaking, grinding, and fermenting the ingredients.

Karnataka Milk Federation To Enter The Idli-Dosa Batter Industry

Since the process of making the batter for idli and dosa is time-consuming, the market for packaged batter is quite large. From North to South, East to West, the popularity of idli and dosa is beyond explanation. Hence, the Karnataka Milk Federation will enter the market with a massive launch of their product under the Nandini brand.

According to media reports, KMF has been selling dairy products, like milk, bread, ghee, cheese, buttermilk, and ice cream, for years now under the Nandini brand name. It makes sense to enter the market for idli-dosa with a brand that enjoys an existential loyal customer base. Not just the batter, but the brand will also include two different kinds of spreads to the list of launches to attract more customers.

Idli-Dosa Batter With Whey Protein

At present, many big brands are ruling the market of idli-dosa batter, including MTR and Rishta Speciality. Many brands have ready-to-cook masala idli, dhokla, vada, and rava dosa mixtures. Amid this, Nadini will introduce its products. According to a report by MoneyControl, MK Jagadish, the Managing Director of KMF, is hopeful that the newest launch will be a hit in Bengaluru.

The KMF believes that they will be bringing an easy-to-make breakfast option for the working population of the city. Reports indicate that the batter will not only comprise lentils and rice, but it will also have whey protein powder that will amplify the taste and nutritional value.

There will be two different idli-dosa packets available - 450 grams and 900 grams. Pricing and other details will be revealed once the KMF launches the idli-dosa batter. Good news for Bengalurureans because they will be able to enjoy their favourite staple South Indian delights without hassle.
