The Bollywood actor is known for exploring regional cuisines, sipping on authentic beverages, and never shying away from sharing glimpses of gastronomical adventures on her social media handle. This time, while exploring Ahmedabad, Karisma Kapoor shared a video of a table filled with Gujarati delicacies.

Starting from the famous crunchy tea-time snack, the regional box of snacks contained chakli. Made with rice flour, the deep-fried snack is just perfect for munching when you are craving something crunchy. Adjacent to chakli, the picture shared by Karisma Kapoor had a drool-worthy Gujarati nasta mixture. The namkeen featured a mixture of handpicked regional snacks like chivda, sev, chana jor garam, peanuts, and much more.

Then comes a serving of a Gujarati and Rajasthani regional snack, mathri. The one in Karisma Kapoor’s Instagram story looked utterly crisp and thin. Usually made with a mixture of maida and whole wheat flour, mathri is relished in almost all parts of the country. And next is the Gujarati star, fafda. Made with besan, fafda has a crunchy texture that is often flavoured with carom seeds, black pepper, and asafoetida.

But who said it’s only the snacks that got the attention of the actor’s fans? The extensive spread of regional dips and chutneys looked utterly delicious chutneys. Unlike others, Karisma Kapoor has proved to be a real foodie by trying authentic regional food. So, she didn’t choose to end her spread of regional snacks with just any other dessert. She did it like a true Gujarati would, with a box of nankhatai. Her box had chocolate nankhatai, which melts in your mouth. Gujarati cookies are flavoured with chocolate chips or cocoa powder.
