Janhvi Kapoor is one celebrity who never shies away from sharing snippets from her daily life on social media, which includes what she eats too. A foodie at heart, the Bollywood actor is quite expressive when it comes to her love for delicious dishes and snacks. A while ago, she had treated herself to a table full of desserts after the trailer of her upcoming film Mili was released.

And, now she is back with another update. Her latest feast is a rather royal one. Janhvi is currently on a multi-city tour across India for the promotions of her new film, and recently she was in Hyderabad. Mention the ‘city of Nizams’, and the mind immediately thinks of aromatic biryani, succulent kebabs, and more such delectable delicacies. And the foodie in Janhvi couldn’t have missed the chance to gorge on all these.

Going by her latest Instagram stories, Janhvi feasted on a lot of Hyderabadi dishes during her short visit. But can you guess who was her foodie partner? Janhvi was accompanied by none other than her father, producer Boney Kapoor. In a series of pictures that she shared, we first saw a large tiffin box. The text on the picture read, 'When in Hyderabad', while the following pictures showed her father and a few other people gorging on a hearty spread of food on the table meal. What do we see on their plates? There are a variety of spicy rice dishes, including biryani, in a few dabbas. Then, we could also spot a range of drool-worthy curries. Janhvi wrote, ‘Help’. Looking at the utterly delicious food on the table, any foodie on a diet would say so. Take a look:

That is quite a spread, isn’t it? If Janhvi’s Hyderabadi feast has got you craving some treats from the ‘city of Nawabs’, we’ve got you authentic recipes from the cuisine right here. These dishes will help you put up a royal meal at home.

1. Hyderabadi Biryani

Biryani and Hyderabad go hand-in-hand. No list of Hyderabadi recipes is complete without the mention of ambrosial biryani. This rice dish occupies a special place in our hearts. However, you can make delicious Hyderabadi biryani at home as well.

2. Hyderabadi Cutlet

Boasting spices such as garam masala, red chilli powder, and salt, this vegetable cutlet is full of flavour and goodness of veggies like carrot, beetroot, radish, green peas, and potato, besides curd.

3. Hyderabadi Keema

Minced meat tossed with a range of whole spices spells decadence like nothing else. Cinnamon, mace, and cloves lend a unique aroma and warmth to the dish.
