Shivaji Rao Gaekwad, better known by his stage name Rajinikanth, is a Tamil film industry superstar and a major performer in his own way. The upcoming release of Rajinikanth's film Jailer has everyone in the entertainment industry buzzing. During this time, Thalaiva decided to take a trip to the Maldives for a vacation. The iconic actor was greeted with a spectacular celebration upon his arrival in the island nation. Before coming back to Chennai for the launch of his film, he had the opportunity to spend a significant number of days travelling abroad.
The famed Thalaiva took off for a 12-day vacation at the resort in the beautiful Maldives and selected Kuda Villingili Resort to relax and recharge after wrapping production on the highly anticipated film Lal Salaam and before the release of his flick Jailer.

Commenting on his stay, Thalaiva Sir Rajinikanth said, "It was a superb experience to stay at the Kuda Villingili Resort – it is paradise. Now it has become my home, " a property official informed.
During his visit, he enjoyed the soothing, secluded, and tranquil atmosphere of the resort, as well as the assortment of mouthwatering delicacies that were specially made for him by the resort's talented chefs. His go-to meals were the Lucknowi Biriyani, Malabari Chicken Curry, Fresh Fish Chettinad, and other fresh seafood and vegetarian dishes. In addition to this, he dined at one of the resort's many restaurants, which included the resort's signature eatery, MAR UMI which is a Peruvian Japanese Sensation. Flavorful Peruvian and Japanese meals served at this restaurant boast a beachfront location with a picture-perfect view of the turquoise lagoon and vibrant sunsets. Rajnikanth had also participated in cutting of the team's goodbye cake at the resort, which marked the end of his time at the beautiful property.
