Ever since we were kids, a bottle of chyawanprash always occupied a pride of place in our homes. That’s because it has always been trusted for its benefits to the immune system. In fact, the winter season brought forth its need, especially since cold and coughs make an appearance at this time of the year. Yes yes, we know this is a ‘wonder product’, but how can diabetics reap its benefits? We know that high amounts of sugar can really send their blood sugar levels out of whack, but it isn’t fair to leave them out, right?
That’s why there are varieties of sugar-free chyawanprash available today that are either sweetened with natural sources such as jaggery or sugar substitutes like stevia. That’s a huge relief, but are they even safe for diabetics? Avni Kaul, Nutritionist, Dietician and Wellness Coach, and Founder of Nutri Activania, shares some insights with HealthShots.
Is this variety of chyawanprash effective?

It enhances stamina by fighting the body’s weakness and helps to keep the body rejuvenated and healthy because it is low in calories.
