Here are some brunch recipes that you can whip up at home and surprise the important women in your life.
1. Shakshuka
A popular breakfast dish from the Middle-East, Shakshuka is a delight to the taste buds. Take your normal poached eggs for a spin and you will end up making a whole new dish. The poached eggs are placed on tomato gravy which is all things flavourful and spicy. Garnish with coriander leaves and add bell peppers and onions to the gravy for a wholesome meal.
2. Brunch Burritos
Burritos for brunch? Oh yes, they are the perfect handy snack to eat. The burritos are wrapped in chunky pork sausages and bacon strips along with grated cheddar cheese and onions. You can add bell peppers to the mix and stuff up the tortillas with all things you like.
3. Fried Egg Bruschetta
A crispy and crunchy bite, these bruschettas are very delicious and flavourful. Slather the toasted bread with herbed garlic butter and top it with prosciutto and some fried eggs.
4. Cinnamon Scones
The cute and soft scones are flavoured with the strong cinnamon taste. All you need is some ground cinnamon, eggs, sea salt, butter and flour. The scones are rolled into a pipe-like shape and baked. Serve the scones with jam, butter or clotted cream.
5. Meatloaf Muffins
Take a break from the sweet and indulgent muffins and try these savoury ones. The meat-loaded muffins are made from minced mutton, tomatoes, onions, carrots, red and yellow capsicum and many more veggies. These are delicious and wholesome.
6. Belgian Waffles With Triple Berry Sauce
The crunchy and crispy waffles are covered in a thick and sweet berry sauce. Made from blackberries, blueberries and raspberries, the Belgian waffles taste so perfect that you won’t be able to resist.
