Rebel Foods, the internet restaurant company, inaugurated India's first smart food court with 15+ brands across different food categories under a single roof through EatSure, an online food delivery platform. The flagship store, which spans 3000 square feet and provides a full digital consumer experience, is situated on Law College Road in Erandwane, Pune.
EatSure's food court allows customers to place orders from iconic brands via kiosks and iPads, where they can scan QR codes to place orders. Once ready, the customer will be notified about the order through the digital screens in-store or through a Whatsapp message. Besides the multiple brands loved by customers—including Behrouz Biryani, SLAY Coffee, Oven Story, Wendy’s, etc.—EatSure is also home to brands across food missions. EatSure is the first food court of its kind in the nation to be offered by a QSR or food-tech firm, making it unique among food courts.
With this project, EatSure aims to open 100 offline stores in different categories in the next two years. In December, EatSure also unveiled a 360-degree nationwide campaign, #foodcourtonanapp. This encouraged people to order, eat, and celebrate together through a unique concept of group ordering on their platform.
With a versatile food ordering option, EatSure's smart food court has definitely gone a step ahead to give consumers the freedom to order more with ease. What are your thoughts on the concept of a smart food court? Let us know.
