Ingredients
20 puris
1 tsp cooking oil
1 cup cooked rajma
3 tomatoes
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp garam masala
10 cloves garlic
1 tsp paprika
Salt to taste
For making salsa:
1 onion, tomato and bell pepper ( finely chopped )
3 cloves minced garlic
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
1 jalapeno
1 tbsp soya sauce
1 tsp sugar
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp chilli flakes
1/2 tsp crushed black pepper
Salt to taste
Method
- Place the tomatoes in a pot of boiling water and cook for 30-40 seconds. Then use tweezers to transfer the tomatoes to a bowl of ice water. Then remove the tomato skin. Once the tomatoes have cooled, blend them into a smooth puree.
- Add the oil to the pan and sauté the minced garlic until golden brown.
- Then transfer the tomato paste to the pan and cook over medium heat. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes. At this point, remove half a cup of this sauce in a bowl and set aside.
- Then place the cooked rajma in the pan, stir and cook for another 2-3 minutes and mix with the sauce.
- Then add the spices and seasonings such as salt, garam masala, pepper and sugar. Mix everything and cook for another 2 minutes before removing from the heat. Let cool.
How to make Mexican salsa:
- Add very finely chopped onions, tomatoes and bell peppers to the bowl.
- Now add garlic and jalapenos to a bowl.
- Then the crushed coriander goes.
- Finally, add ketchup, salt, oregano, soy sauce, sugar, ground black pepper, chilli flakes, paprika and reserved tomato sauce. Mix everything.
How to make Indian-Mexican panipuris:
- Bore the puri with your finger.
- Using a small spoon, fill all the rajma mixture and salsa.
- Continue with all the puris and eat immediately.
