The Indian Accent was recently featured on the list of 50 Indian Restaurants. Condé Nast Traveller x Zomato organised Top Restaurant Awards 2024 and featured both Delhi and Mumbai properties on their list. It is one of the most prestigious dining spots in the country and has been listed in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024 and Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2024.
First opened in New Delhi in 2009 by Rohit Khattr, Indian Accent is synonymous with modern Indian food. It opened its branches in New York in 2016 and Mumbai in 2023. Their website says that the dishes featured on their menu are a ‘unique marriage of global ingredients and techniques with the flavours and traditions of India. Their six-course tasting menu with selected wines from India is a one-of-a-kind dining experience for which people from across the globe make reservations.

15 Glorious Years Of Indian Accent
It is one of the few fine dining spots in India that has taken the love for local cuisine to another level. It recently made headlines because Chef Manish Mehrotra, who was associated with Old World Hospitality Group for 24 years, announced a break. In an exclusive chat with Slurrp, he shared, “I started working in 1996 and it's been 28 years plus 3 years of hotel school so it's been 31 years of doing this and since 1996 till now I don't think I have ever taken such a long break. It was always work, work, work, work.”
Chef Shantanu Mehrotra, Executive Chef at Indian Accent, New Delhi and New York, is credited for curating award-winning menus in the last 15 years. Indian Accent is celebrating 15 glorious years of serving lip-smacking food to its loyal and ever-growing clientele. They are organising a special pop-up at Saffron, Jaipur Marriott Hotel, in association with American Express. From November 16 to 17, 2024, (Saturday and Sunday), you can receive a table for lunch from 12:30pm to 3:30pm and dinner from 7pm onwards.

Indian Accent’s Menu
Indian Accent has four menus - Lunch and Dinner Menu, Chef’s Tasting Menu with Wine Pairing, Chef’s Tasting Menu with Reserve Wine Pairing, and Beverage Menu. You get more options at the Mumbai property with Chef's Tasting Menu for Jains, vegans, and people allergic to gluten. They also have separate brunch and family feast menus. Some of the unique delicacies featured on their regular menu include pulled jackfruit phulka taco, burrata chaat, meetha aachar pork ribs, 100 layer paneer, and butter chicken kulcha.
The chef’s tasting menus are special because one gets to savour dishes like Kashmiri morel musallum, paneer tikka chaat, cauliflower kofta, chicken tikka chaat, tandoori salmon, Indian Accent kulfi sorbet, etc.
