Hot Dogs Get Cheesier, Burger Gets Meatier At This Burger Joint

We love our good ol' classic burgers; you know the ones that come with the meanest patty, lettuce with a crunch that rings in your neighbours’ ears, and cheese and sauces that bring out the true glutton in you. There sure could be an ‘elegant’ way to eat them, but once we find our favourite kind of burgers, etiquettes take a backseat. And that is what happened when we tried the new burgers and hotdogs from Good Flippin’ Burgers.

GOOD FLIPPIN’ BURGERS recently launched its 6th and biggest dine-in outlet in Oshiwara, Mumbai. We, however, sampled the burgers in Delhi, fresh and hot from their delivery kitchen. But first let’s talk about the latest addition to the menu- the hot dogs. They have started with two, the PHAT dog and the Pork Hot Dog.

What is striking about both, is how both of them are no-fuss, no-frills hot dogs where your meat and a certain cheese sauce spiked with jalapenos reign supreme. No seriously, it is bursting with cheese, but that is adequately complimented by smoky BBQ sauce, mustard and caramelised onions. If you are not so much of a fan of cheese, you can steer clear. But if you love your cheese, meat and mustard, it doesn’t get better than this.

The Cluckninator Burger

Coming to the burgers, the vegans should definitely try the Bean Bomb. A soft and firm patty made with beans and mushroom snuck in between two brioche buns, hot mayo, onions and lettuce, this one’s a winner. If you are looking for classic chicken burgers, you are going to be spoilt for choice. For us, it was certainly a task to decide between the Cluckninator and the Grilla. The former is ideal for those who love crispy chicken patties, this one also comes with the goodness of honey mustard mayo and lettuce. If you want to spice things up a bit, then the Grilla is a better bet, with grilled chicken breast patty, peri peri sauce marinade, jalapeno cheese sauce, tomatoes and lettuce.

The bean burger

The red meat lovers can go for ‘The Flippin Standard’, with a loaded buff patty, cheddar cheese, tomatoes, sauce and lettuce. There, we saw you slurping.
