How can you entice a sceptic of vegetables to try them? On the vegetable, in all honesty. Our solution for carrots is twofold: coat them in a sweet and gooey sauce and then roast them. The honey and butter in the glaze will caramelise in the oven's heat, turning the ordinary, uninteresting carrots into an alluring side dish. Any variety, whether whole, baby, orange, or multicoloured, will work for glazing. To ensure that your carrots roast evenly in the oven, just make sure they are all around the same size and shape.
Ways to restore glazed carrots
If you have any leftovers, you may keep them in the fridge for up to three days in an airtight container. We advise microwaving in a covered container for intervals of 30 seconds to reheat. Before heating, you might want to add a teaspoon of water to the jar to add a little extra moisture and keep the glaze from becoming overly sticky.
Benefits of carrots-
Carrots' fibre content can aid in regulating blood sugar levels. Additionally, they are abundant in beta-carotene and vitamin A, both of which have been linked to a decreased incidence of diabetes. They can make your bones stronger. Both calcium and vitamin K, which are found in carrots, are crucial for healthy bones.
