Are you having a movie night today? Sometimes you need to keep your focus on the plot without flinching, but other times, you may want to sip cola and eat vigorously without stopping for breath. If your idea of a perfect movie night is having the best of both worlds, then that means — A) You better pick a really good movie that’ll keep you on the edge of your seat, and B) Popcorn should give you the kicks too!
All in all, you are mentally prepared for the adrenaline rush! But may we suggest a quirky twist? Marshmallow. Popcorn. Ice Cream. Sundaes. They’re one single thing! You can get bored of eating popcorn, but you’ll never hate the idea of popcorn, marshmallow, and ice cream, rolled into one. So while your movie is playing, you also get to enjoy this stellar, delicious sundae.
This treat is the best. Try out the recipe —
INGREDIENTS
1 packet miniature marshmallows
1 packet popcorn
1/2 cup butter
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 bowl of vanilla ice cream
1 bowl of berries
1 packet MnMs
1 tbsp chocolate drizzle
METHOD
Put the popcorn in the microwave, or put them in the stove. Either way, let the kernels pop!
Melt butter in a pan, and add the marshmallows. Stir it all, do not put the mixture on extreme heat.
Constantly stir the mixture until it is well combined. Add vanilla essence to enhance flavor.
Allow the mixture to cool down. It has to become lukewarm, so it can start to thicken a little bit.
Put the popcorn in a large bowl.
Now alternate between adding the marshmallow mixture and more popcorn, so that all kernels have marshmallow coating.
You can sprinkle some chocolate powder, MnMs, chocolate drizzle.
Put ice cream in a bowl, along with the warmed berries and popcorn marshmallow balls.
