  • Eggs - 2
  • Salt – ¼ tablespoons
  • Turmeric Powder – ¼ teaspoon
  • Coarsely Chopped Green Chilli – ¼ teaspoons
  • Coarsely Chopped Onion – 2 tablespoons
  • Finely Chopped Coriander – 1 cup
  • Water – 1 teaspoon
  • Unsalted butter- 1½ teaspoon
  • Bread Slices – 4
  • Black pepper – pinch
  • Mayonnaise – 1 teaspoon (Optional)
  • Green chillies and coriander for the garnish

Recipe For Bread Omelette In Frying Pan:

Follow the steps below to enjoy the perfect bread omelette in a frying pan.

  • In a bowl, crack the eggs, and set them aside.
  • Add little turmeric and salt to the cracked egg mixture.  
  • After that, add the coarsely chopped onions, green chillies, and coriander.
  • Now Whisk this mixture by adding little water as required. The water will make the batter lighter and produce incredibly tender omelettes. One may also use a tablespoon of milk in place of the water.
  • In a pan, add butter or any oil can be used instead of butter, but it is strongly advised to add butter because it has an unrivalled flavour. 
  • Next, the omelette mixture should be added to the pan. Finally, by swirling the pan, distribute the omelette mixture uniformly around the skillet. 
  • On top of the omelette, place two pieces of bread. You can use any bread, such as milk, brown, or whole wheat.
  • As soon as some of the egg mixtures attach to the bread, rapidly flip the bread over. Cook for around 30 seconds on a medium burner.
  • Together with the bread pieces, flip the omelette, then fold it over the toast. 
  • For a light toasting, add 1/2 teaspoon butter to the bread to crisp up and toast properly to make a lovely sandwich.
  • Spread mayonnaise on one side of the omelette before the bread is folded to resemble a sandwich. Cook the sides well. If you do not want mayonnaise, then skip this step.
