If you are wondering whether the citrus pie is the right option for your dessert, then let us tell you what we feel. When you are bored of eating any cherry, chocolate, strawberry flavoured pie, then citrus pie is the way to go! It’s absolutely delicious and so easy to prepare. Once you get the gist of making citrus pie, you’d want to make it over and over again. The pie is rich and silky inside, soft and delicate on the outside.
What makes a citrus pie different is the variety of options that you have to make the pie. You can use any sort of fruit such as lemon, orange, grapefruit for the velvety filling. In this recipe, we combine oranges and lemons, but feel free to create your very own pairings for the citrus pie. Instead of pie, you may also make mini tarts. No doubt that you’d have to make another three to four batches before you finally move on. Or maybe not! If you have a lemon tree in your backyard, you’re in luck.
