Tesla CEO Elon Musk isn’t just the most popular business magnate in the world. He is also one of the most active people on social media. With a following of more than 100 million on Twitter, Elon makes sure to regularly interact with them through posts, responses, and threads. He even updates the world about his latest ventures through the micro-blogging site. Remember when he announced his Twitter deal? From the latest ventures to his life stories, he talks about it all on social media. And these updates include his weight loss journey too.
Recently, Elon shared weight loss tips and his dietary plans with his followers on social media. And can you guess what could be the secret behind his weight loss? Well, the business tycoon took no pills. Instead, he opted for intermittent fasting. Yes, you read that right. In a Twitter post, Elon revealed that he has been fasting periodically, which is making him feel much better. Take a look at the tweet:
A user commented on the thread, to which the SpaceX founder responded saying that he has lost over 20 lbs (about 10 kgs). Now, isn’t that quite a feat?
For the unversed, intermittent fasting is a weight loss diet that has become quite the trend of the generation. Also known as IF, intermittent fasting doesn’t focus on what you are eating, instead focuses on when you are eating. It creates eating patterns that alternate between the eating cycle and fasting cycles. The focus is to restrict eating to a few hours of the day.
This isn’t the first time Elon has shared about his eating habits. In fact, he has been very open about his love for food. In various interviews and talk shows, he has revealed how he would love to eat without having to work out. Recently, Elon’s lifestyle was publicly criticised by his father Errol Musk, as he said in a talk show, “Elon is very strongly built but he’s been eating badly.” Apparently, he also suggested his son to start taking diet pills. Well, it seems like Elon did get a hint and took up a healthy lifestyle to lose some weight. What do you think about intermittent fasting to shed some kilos? Let us know.
