Can we celebrate any festival without food? Of course, not. For me, all my celebrations revolve around the food served during festivals. As Eid approaches, the preparation of delicious dishes has also begun at home. This time, do you also want to welcome your guests with dastarkhwān filled with dishes Mouthwatering? It can be challenging but not impossible. Here we are sharing some such delicious dishes to prepare at home.
For starters
- Pakoras: You can make pakoras to add a different taste to your dastarkhwān spread. Nowadays, many types of pakoras can be made easily at home. For example, you can prepare onion pakora, onion and cabbage pakora, spinach pakora and potato pakora at home. You can also feed your guests with other veg starters like cheese balls and chilli potatoes. However, non-veg starters are also very much preferred to veg starters, and you can include kakori kebab, chicken roll, fry chicken and Afghani chicken on your menus.
- Tangdi Kebab: When it comes to non-veg starters, the first thing that comes to everyone’s mind is kebabs. So, why not serve the tangdithe create Indian Kadaikadai paneer since it is cooked in a special Indian wok called kadai, kebabs first to the guests. Tangdi kebab is readily available in the market.

- Manchurian: The taste of manchurian adds fun to the festival of Eid. You can also include it in the main course dish bringing a variety to your dastarkhwān.
- Mughlai Chicken: Spices are used less in making Mughlai Chicken enhancing its taste even more. This recipe is cooked in curd, onion and cashew gravy.
For dessert
The taste and sweetness of desserts will make the festive atmosphere more pleasant. Kaju Barfi, Gulab Jamun, Malpua, Shrikhand and Rasgulla are good choices for a sweet dish.
