Who wouldn’t like a delightful serving of desserts after a hearty and nutritious meal? I usually crave cakes, ice creams, brownies and end up overeating them. Sweets are generally sugary, but nobody can stop indulging in their favourite treats, Indian sweets in particular. We bring you some easy-to-make desserts that can satiate your cravings and are also wholesome.
Oats Laddoos
Ingredients:
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coconut - 1/2 cup grated
- Dry fruits - 2 tsp
- Raisins - 1/2 tsp
- Jaggery - 1 cup
- Dates - 1/2 cup
- Milk - 1/3 cup
- Oats - 2 cups
- Ghee - 1 tsp
Method:
- First, heat ghee, add oats to a pan and fry them for some time
- Now, put dry fruits, oats, jaggery, dates and grind them together in the mixer
- Apply ghee in your hands, take it out of the mixture and make the laddoos
- You can comfortably store these tasty laddoos for a few days
Paneer Laddoos
Ingredients:
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
- Coconut powder - 2 tsp
- Milk powder - 1/2 tsp
- Paneer - 300 grams
- Dry fruits - 2 tsp
- Ghee - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar - 1 cup
Method:
- First, put the paneer in a mixer, grind it coarsely and take it out in a vessel.
- Heat ghee in a container, put the paneer on medium flame, and fry it
- Mix the same sugar and cardamom powder in the mixer well
- Add sugar-cardamom powder mixture to the roasted paneer, fry for four to five minutes and turn off the gas
- After a while, finely chop the dry fruits, mix the coconut powder in the prepared mixture and make the laddoos
Chana Barfi
Ingredients:
- Chana - 200 grams
- Mawa - 300 grams
- Ghee - 2 spoons
- Sugar - 2 cups
- Milk - 1 cup
Method:
- After roasting the gram, take it out in a vessel, remove the peel and clean it.
- After this, put the gram in the mixer and make a fine powder
- Now heat ghee in a pan, add mawa, sugar and fry it for some time
- Then, add gram powder and other ingredients
- Cook for some time, please turn off the gas and spread it on a plate
- After cooling, cut it into the size of barfi and serve
