Ingredients
• 2 green cardamoms
• 1 cup chopped dates
• 2 tablespoons cashews
• 2 tablespoons raisins
• 3 tablespoons almonds
• 1 tablespoon desiccated coconut
• 8 dried figs
Method
1. Initially, start roasting the almonds in a skillet until they get golden.
2. At regular intervals, keep stirring the almonds. The almonds can also be lightly roasted. Place aside.
3. Chop the figs and dates roughly.
4. Measure the chopped dates and set them away because you will need 1 cup.
5. In a mortar and pestle, first lightly crush the cardamom pods. Next, remove the peels and finely smash the seeds. Place aside.
6. Add the dates, figs, cashews, raisins, almonds, desiccated coconut, and finely ground cardamom powder to a spice grinder, blender, or mixer grinder.
7. Incorporate the toasted almonds.
8. The mixture can be taken in a bowl or ground up and placed on a tray or plate.
9. Your hands should form tiny balls, and the dry fruit laddu is ready.
10. You may either serve the dry fruit laddu right away or preserve it in the refrigerator in an airtight container. A few days at room temperature and a few weeks in the fridge are sufficient storage times for dry fruit ladoo.
