The only thing you have to worry about is the recipe for refreshing cocktails if you wish to impress your guests.

Sonali Mullick, Mixologist at Hitchki India, has shared some amazing cocktail recipes that will help you kickstart festivities with a bang. Try these Bollywood-themed alcoholic drinks before the festive season fades away.
Jab V Met
Ingredients
- 45 ml gin
- 15 ml vermouth
- 10 ml lime juice
- 10 ml sugar syrup
- 20 ml kairi panna
- 20 ml butterfly pea flower syrup
- ¼ tsp amchur powder
- 100 grams of ice
- Dehydrated orange slice
- Strawberry poppers
Method
Gently stir the ingredients together until well combined and chilled. Carefully pour the butterfly pea flower syrup over the back of a spoon onto the surface of the drink and serve with a dehydrated orange slice on the rim of the glass.
Daaru Desi
Ingredients
- 45 ml bourbon whisky
- 10 ml sugar syrup
- 15 ml lime juice
- 2 tbsp apricot puree
- 3 dash bitters
- 100 grams of Ice
Method
Gently stir the ingredients together until they mix well together and are chilled. For a visually appealing touch, garnish with a slice of smoked apricot or a sprig of rosemary.

Lollyta
Ingredients
- 60 ml white rum
- 15 ml strawberry crush
- 15 ml sweet & sour mix
- 10 mint leaves
- 1 mango ice-cream
- 100 grams of ice
Method
Stir the ingredients and place the entire salted mango lolly ice cream into the glass. Garnish with a small piece of candy or a sprig of mint.
Paan Banaras Vaalaa
Ingredients
- 60 ml bourbon
- 2 no fresh paan
- 1 mg cloves
- 10 grams of gulkand
- 30 ml pineapple juice
- 10 ml sugar syrup
- 1 dash of homemade Angostura
- Paan
- 100 grams of ice
Method
Muddle and shake all ingredients over ice and fine strain in a chilled coupe glass. Use half-cut paan for garnishing.
Sharabi Coffee
Ingredients
- 60 ml milkmaid
- 600 ml dark rum
- 1 gram of coffee powder
- 2 grams of cocoa powder
- 100 grams of ice
Method
Drizzle the dark rum over the top of the coffee. Dust the surface with cocoa powder for a finishing touch.
