The ‘festival of lights’ is almost here, and Indians around the world are gearing up to celebrate Diwali with joy and fervour. One of the country’s biggest festivals, Diwali marks the homecoming of Lord Rama after 14 years in exile. On this day, people perform pujas at home and offices, dress up and indulge in a delicious feast with family and friends.
This year, Diwali will be celebrated on October 31. The celebrations are incomplete without Diwali parties, in which a delectable spread is a must. As much as Diwali is about lights and the spirit of giving, it is also about a gastronomic adventure. With less than a week remaining, how about adding a special touch to the celebrations by making a handful of treats at home?
