The Tale Of Mango Mastani
Doesn’t the word mastani remind you of that Bollywood movie, Bajirao Mastani? It rings a bell in our head too. Bajirao was a famous Maratha General of Peshwa kingdom. His tactful and strategic plans for battles were the reasons for his popularity. The strong-headed king was left awe-struck by the beauty of Mastani, who was Bundelkhand’s warrior princess. It is believed that the creamy mango shake is named after the beautiful princess.
