Tomatoes are ruling the internet. From a common man to Bollywood celebrities, everyone is talking about the skyrocketing prices of this basic kitchen ingredient. While at some places, incidents of tomato theft have been reported, some politicians have hired bouncers to protect this expensive produce. Recently, an auto driver has announced giving free tomatoes to the person who rides in his auto 5 times. And this is not it, there are so many incidents that have proved how important tomatoes are these days.

And not just common people; famous Bollywood celebrities are also talking about the increasing tomato rates. Recently, actresses Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Ali Asgar took to their social media handles and shared some hilarious reels. In a post shared by Shilpa Shetty, she is seen shopping for groceries, and when she picks up a tomato, the famous dialogue from "Dhadkan" plays in the background.
Taking to her Instagram handle, the actress posted a funny reel with the caption, "Tamatar Ke prices are raising my Dhadkan (red heart emoji, tomato emoji) #fun #throwback #dialogue." In the video, when Shilpa picks up a tomato and brings it close to her cheeks, an audio play says, "How dare you, Khabardar jo mujhe chhune ki koshish ki. Kis haq se tumne mujhe chhua? Tumhara koi haq nahi mujhpe." Then, Shilpa keeps that tomato back with a sad face and a laughing sound playing in the background.

A similar video was shared by actor and comedian Ali Asgar on his Instagram account. In the video captioned "Tamaaaaaaattaarrrrrrrrr,", Ali was seen having food, and when he picked up the tomato from his plate, the same Dhadkan audio plays in the background. He then keeps the tomato back. Both posts received so many funny comments from netizens. A user commented on Shilpa Shetty’s post, "Mam aap toh Tomato kharid saktey ho aap Tomato ko boliye mam aap Shilpa Shetty Kundra hai". Ali Asgar’s post also received funny comments from netizens.
