Chataamari
Ingredients:
- Cumin-coriander powder - 1/2 tsp
- Onion-tomato - 1 finely chopped
- Ginger-garlic paste - 1/2 spoon
- Red chilli powder - 1/2 tsp
- Green vegetables - 1 cup
- Coriander leaves - 1 tsp
- Rice flour - 2 cups
- Salt - as per taste
- Cheese - 2 spoon
- Black pepper - 2
Method:
- First, add a little water to the rice flour and knead it well. Make sure it is neither too thick nor too thin.
- Mix green vegetables, onion, coriander leaves, chilli powder, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, tomato and salt.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry these well.
- After this, put rice flour in the baking tray in the shape of a pancake; put cheese and mixture on top.
- Now preheat the oven to 200 degrees and turn it off after cooking for about 15-20 minutes.
Yomari
Ingredients:
- Coconut - 2 teaspoons grated
- Black sesame - 1/2 teaspoon
- Dates - 1 finely chopped
- Salt - according to taste
- Salt - according to taste
- Jaggery - 4 teaspoons
- Rice flour - 200 grams
- Flour - 2 teaspoons
Method:
- First, put water and jaggery in a pan. Heat it well.
- Now, put coconut and dates in it; heat it, and turn off the gas after some time.
- After this, add this water to the rice flour and maida. Finally, knead the dough, and keep it aside.
- After 10 minutes, apply oil to your hands and make the dough in the shape of yomari.
- After this, in another vessel, steam the yomari with jaggery water for about 20-25 minutes.
Sel Roti
Ingredients:
- Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
- Sugar powder - 100 grams
- Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- Butter - 50 grams
- Rice - 500 grams
- Oil as required
Method:
- To make sel roti, first, soak the rice in the water a day before.
- Put the rice in a mixer the next day, grind it well, and take it out in a vessel.
- Add sugar, baking soda, cardamom powder to the rice paste and mix well. Now put oil for heating in a pan.
- After this, put the paste in a plastic container and make a small hole in it from beneath.
- Put it in the hot oil round shape and fry it till it becomes golden.
