* Dhokla

* Khakra

Khakra is a light snack that is also a great breakfast option. From the outer look, it almost looks like a papad but is a lot thicker and more fulfilling than a regular papad. People of Gujarat have gone extremely creative with Khakras and there are so many different flavours of Khakras that one can find in the market. Some of the most famous flavours include Pani Puri, Peri-Peri masala, cheese flavour and even pizza. The traditional recipe of khakhra is also equally irresistible.

* Khaman

Many people often think that Khaman and Dhokla are the same things. These two snacks are very different from each other. * Fafda

Fafda Jalebi is a very popular breakfast combination from Gujarat. A lot of people might have heard of this breakfast combination from the popular TV serial Tarak Mehta Ka Ulta Chasma where one of the main protagonists who is also a Gujarati loves eating this tempting dish over the weekends as breakfast. Well, this is the case with almost all Gujarati as this sinful breakfast option is very hard to resist. The crunchiness and saltiness of fafda goes perfectly well with the sweet and tender jalebis.

* Handvo

This is a savoury dish that is prepared by using some lentils and vegetables. This is a Gujarati breakfast option that gives the liberty to use a variety of ingredients to the one who is making it. The foundation of this recipe can be prepared by a multitude of ingredients so it is completely upon the choice of the person who is making Handvo. One of the most-liked versions of this dish is made from rava and is quite popular in Gujarat. 

* Thepla
