Ingredients
1. 1/2 cup flaked almonds
2. 2 cups black dates
3. 1/2 cup pistachios
4. 8 cup milk
5. 1 teaspoon powdered green cardamom
6. 1/2 cup rice
1. Wash the rice first, then soak them for 15 minutes in clean water. While waiting, chop dates, slice pistachios, and deseed dates on a cutting board.
2. Place a pan over medium heat and combine the rice, dates, and milk in the pan. Till the rice is tender, cook for 10-15 minutes.
3. Add chopped pistachios and almond flakes to the pan. Well, combine, then cook for 4-5 minutes.
4. Cardamom powder is now well mixed into the kheer. Extinguish the flame and allow the kheer to cool. Serve garnished with pistachios and almond flakes. The kheer can also be refrigerated for up to an hour and served that way.
