The National Street Food Festival – Delhi’s next big ticket food event, is all set to welcome over 70,000 curious foodies from the dates of 29-31 December, this year. About to take place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi, the idea of the festival is to promote the local food culture curated from across 28 states and 8 union territories of India. With 120 food stalls slated to showcase delectable culinary creations from the four zones, visitors are expected to be spoilt for choice while picking from some delicious offerings.

The participating vendors have been asked to hold an FSSAI registration, thus ensuring food safety and quality of the highest standards, along with being given training on how to keep up the standard of the dishes for the course of the three days. Among some of the preparations that include double ka meetha from Hyderabad to daal kachauri from Rajasthan to dahi bhalla, pizza omelette and the fascinating ‘chuski’ – the festival is all set to wow the tastebuds of guests and also educate through experience.
