If you’re in Delhi this weekend, clear your schedules, because there’s an event on the horizon that you can’t miss. On the 8th, 9th and 10th of October, Mobikwik presents HT City Unwind a three-day event landing at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium which promises to bring you an unforgettable weekend of music, food and fun.
In association with HT City Foodies, the dedicated food handle for HT City this event will feature all the city’s iconic restaurants and brands serving their specialities under one roof. "The good, the better, the best!" says Chef Vaibhav Bhargava, "Super stoked to be a part of the Slurrp Masterchef Cook along Zone at HT City Unwind. Can’t wait to meet the virtual family for the Masterclass and interact with everyone! See you there!"
But the foodie fun won’t stop at eating, you’ll also get a chance to watch some of India’s greatest chefs cooking live and sharing their tips, tricks and exclusive recipes. Among the line-up are Chef Kunal Kapur, Chef Dayashankar Sharma, Chef Varun Inamdar, Chef Saby and many many more who will be taking over the Masterchef Cookout Zone on Friday and Saturday from 2 p.m onwards and from 1 p.m on Sunday.
Some lucky winners will even be able to join some chefs on stage and cook alongside these culinary wizards. All you have to do is enter the Masterchef Cookalong Contest. Each chef is gearing up to showcase their skills and is hard at work putting together a spectacular line-up of dishes. “Cooking for an audience is like a spectacle a magician puts out every time with all its frills and flair.” says Chef Varun Inamdar, “This time it is in 'Apni Dilli' and it cannot get more exciting than this.”
And the food isn’t the only showstopper here. You’ll also get to dance the night away to electric performances by India’s greatest musicians. Groove with Rashmeet Kaur, Sunanda Sharma, Jass Manak and the incomparable Yo Yo Honey Singh as they take the stage. Or rock on with Swarveda, Tarkash, Rocknama and DJ Sumit Sethi.
This collision of food and music is all set to wow Delhi and bring a whole new perspective on food. As Chef Tarun Sibal puts it, “[I’m] absolutely delighted to be cooking in my city at one of Delhi's premiere food and music festivals. Looking forward to giving you a taste of Gourmet Casual!”
