Here's how you can make stuffed mushrooms within the comfort of your home.
Ingredients-
- 200g mushroom
- 1 small capsicum
- Chopped onion
- Cloves of garlic
- Ginger
- Green chilies
- Half tablespoon cumin powder
- Coriander leaves
- Salt to taste
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- Grated cheese
- 2 tablespoon oil
Steps in the making-
- Take mushrooms and first rinse them. Gently remove the stems and also hollow the mushrooms for stuffing them further.
- Now finely chop or trim the stems of mushroom and keep aside.
- Then heat a pan with oil and add chopped onions, ginger, garlic, green chillies, capsicum, salt and red chili powder. Saute the masala for a while.
- In the same pan, add the mushroom stalks. Do mix grated cheese and coriander leaves with the other ingredients.
- Now take a spoon and use it for stuffing the mushroom with the filling we have made.. .
- At the end, take another pan , add oil and place the stuffed mushrooms for frying. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook until it turns brownish in colour. Make sure to sprinkle some more grated cheese over the stuffed mushrooms
- Voila! Stuffed mushrooms are ready.
Serve hot and pair with roti or paan.
Takeaway tip- If you wish to bake the stuffed mushrooms instead of frying, then bake them at 180 degrees for about minutes.
