Ingredients
- 1 fresh betel leaf
- 1 cup of drinking water
- 2 teaspoon tea powder
- 1 1/2 cup milk
- Sugar to taste
- 1 green cardamom
Method
- Make a fresh big, size betel nut leaf and chop it finely.
- Heat a cup of drinking water into a pot.
- Bring it to a boil and add the chopped betel leaf.
- Add a teaspoon of your regular tea powder.
- Add 1 semi-crushed cardamom. This is optional.
- Boil the concoction for 4-5 minutes on medium flame.
- Pour the milk and blend in sugar as per your sweetness preference.
- Boil until bubbles start to form and the foam rises up. It may take 3-4 minutes.
- Switch off the flame and, using a strainer, strain it in a cup
