If you need a last-minute snack for a gathering you forgot about or if you're just in the mood for something amazing, cream cheese dip recipes are fantastic choices. Cream cheese is incredibly versatile. You can use it to make savoury dips, sweet dips, spicy dips, tangy dips, and everything in between. Give cranberry cream cheese dip a try if you're looking for a special dessert (or appetizer) alternative for your weekend celebrations. Using graham crackers for dipping, a straightforward homemade cranberry sauce is drizzled over a block of cream cheese. The richness of the cream cheese and the somewhat sweet, crunchy graham crackers go incredibly well with the sweet and tart cranberry sauce.

Here's how you can make this sweet and creamy dip at home.

Ingredients:

 225 g cream cheese

 ⅓ cup cranberry sauce

 ¼ cup fresh cranberries (diced)

 2 cups white cheddar

 Optional: 2 tablespoons orange zest

Method:

Set the oven temperature to 350 degrees F for preheating.

Cheddar cheese should be grated and kept aside.

Put melted cream cheese, grated cheese, cranberry sauce, and diced cranberries in a large bowl. Orange zest can also be included.

Stir everything together using a big spoon.

Save the bowl and place it in the oven. If preferred, top with additional cheese.

20 to 30 minutes of baking, or until hot and bubbling

Serve with Graham crackers, French bread, artisan bread, or sliced baguette.

Notes

The combination of savoury, sweet, tangy, and salty in this incredibly easy recipe makes it impossible to resist. Both salty crackers and sweet apple slices go nicely with this savoury and sweet cranberry cream cheese dip. To build a little stack of crackers, apples, sharp cheddar, and cranberries, it might even be a good idea to add a few slices of sharp cheese to that tray. This dip also tastes amazing with bread, such as a baguette.

You can prepare the cranberry sauce up to two days ahead of time because it stores well in the refrigerator. So, just put the dip together before the gathering, and you're ready to go.
