One of the most beautiful things in the world is chicken salad. Everyone has a different take on it. Buttery, silky croissants are loaded with savoury chicken salad in chicken salad croissant sandwiches. We eat these delicious sandwiches all year. These croissant sandwiches with chicken salad are fantastic. Although you can cook them any time of year, they are excellent for lunch or dinner in the summer. The chicken salad should be made at least 4 to 6 hours in advance. Keeping to it overnight is even better. The flavours will have a chance to fully develop in this manner.

Here's how you can make this dish at home:

Ingredients:

 1 medium red onion

 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

 ½ teaspoon of salt

8 croissants (sliced in half lengthwise)

2 chicken breasts (boneless, skinless, boiled, and shredded)

 1 cup mayonnaise

 2 green onions

 5-ounce can of water chestnuts

 1 cup fresh green grapes

 1 teaspoon black pepper

Method:

Add the shredded chicken and mayonnaise to a large mixing bowl. Stir everything together.

Grapes, red onions, green onions, water chestnuts, apple cider vinegar, salt, and pepper are the next ingredients to be added. After mixing, place the bowl in the refrigerator to chill.

Stir the chicken mixture when it's time to serve, then spoon the proper quantity of chicken salad onto the croissants. If desired, add lettuce on top before eating.

Notes:

Sandwiches made with chicken salad should never be stored. The bread will get stale and disgusting. Instead, keep the chicken salad in the fridge in an airtight container and assemble the sandwiches when you're ready to serve them.

Although it is possible, the chicken salad shouldn't be frozen. Even though the mayonnaise will break down and the chicken salad will taste awful if you freeze it.
