In a recent short and sweet video post on Instagram, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor can be seen relishing a special paella dish prepared by his daughters, Rachita and Kriti Kapoor. In the video clip, Chef Sanjeev Kapoor is seen taking one spoonful of paella offered by his daughters. A single taste of the dish prompts Chef Sanjeev Kapoor to break out in a fun dance with his daughters, proving that the paella was well made indeed.
“Father’s Day dinner got us obsessed like!” Chef Sanjeev Kapoor wrote in the post. “@rachitakapoor08 and @kritikapoor29 made Paella. We had a hearty meal and ended it with some dancing! Simply a perfect Father’s Day.” Watching the father-daughter trio dance around in shorts and tees with a plate of paella in hand can inspire any home cook to cook up the dish as well.
For those who don’t know, paella is a Spanish dish that is made with a variety of fish and seafood, like prawns, mussels, etc and short-grain risotto rice. The one-pot dish is flavoured with spices like saffron and bay leaf. Known as one of the most prominent Spanish cuisine dishes, paella also appeals to the Indian palate.
