Spiced Old Fashioned Cocktail
Ingredients
- 60 ml whisky
- 10 ml ginger cordial
- 5 Dash bitters
- Orange zest and cherry for garnish
Method
- Take a rocks glass and add the bitters and ginger cordial.
- Add ice and whisky. Stir.
- Garnish with orange zest and serve!
Manhattan Toddy
Ingredients
- 45 ml whisky
- 2 dash bitters
- 15 ml sweet vermouth
- ½ lemon
- 1 strip lemon zest
- 1 strip orange zest
- ½ cup hot water
Method
- Take a glass and rub the rim with lemon and orange zest.
- Add in whisky, bitters, and sweet vermouth.
- Add hot water and stir.
- Squeeze in lemon juice and let it cool down for a minute.
- Serve!
Apple Cider Whisky
Ingredients
- 30 ml whisky
- ½ lemon juice
- 15 ml apple cider
Method
- Take a cocktail shaker and add ice to it.
- Add whisky, apple cider, and lemon juice.
- Shake until chilled properly.
- Pour ice and enjoy!
Whisky Eggnog
- 45 ml whisky
- 1 tsp powdered sugar
- 1 egg
- 10 ml milk
- Nutmeg and cinnamon stick for garnish
Method
- Take a shaker and add whisky, milk, and eggs to the shaker.
- Add plenty of ice and give it a good mix for 20 to 30 seconds.
- Strain it into a mug and garnish with nutmeg and a cinnamon stick.
Hot Toddy
Ingredients
- 30 ml whisky
- 10 ml boiling water
- 1 tsp honey
- 3 cloves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- ½ lemon
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
Method
- Take a mug and add whisky, boiling water, and honey.
- Add cinnamon, lemon juice, and cloves.
- Let it mix and stand for 5 minutes so that the flavours can mingle.
- Sprinkle a pinch of nutmeg and serve!
