Boozy Drink: Try This Sparkling Pineapple Sangria Recipe At Home

This drink is a different version of other traditional sangria cocktails. With the addition of pineapple juice and rum, this tropical beverage gives a fruity, refreshing taste. This drink has a vibe to make you boozy and dancy hence you can enjoy it at the beach or poolside party or with your loved ones. So enjoy the recipe of pineapple sangria and get high with this sparkling drink at your party! 

Ingredients:

  • 1 pineapple (cut into 1-inch chunks, and slice some into wedges for garnishing)
  • 3 cups pineapple juice (unsweetened and chilled)
  • ½ cup white rum 
  • 750 ml sparkling white wine/champagne
  • 2 lemons (juice) (optional)
  • 1 bunch of fresh mint leaves


How To Make Pineapple Sangria?

  1. To make this sangria, first, you need to take a pitcher or drink dispenser or glass if you’re making it for yourself.
  2. First, add some pineapple chunks and pour the pineapple juice. Mix well. 
  3. Then add rum over the top and squeeze the lemon juice into the pitcher. Combine well 
  4. Now add the white rum, gently stir well. 
  5. Take a glass, add some spoonfuls of pineapple chunks, pour mixed rum and pineapple juice liquid, and then top off with white wine or champagne. 
  6. Garnish the drink with some spring of fresh mint leaves and a wedge of freshly sliced pineapple.

Serving Tips:

  • If you’re serving sangria right away instead of refrigerating it in the fridge some time, then you can use chilled white wine and add some ice to the pitcher or glass. 
  • Remember, the best sangrias are chilled around 10-12 hours in the fridge, allowing the flavours to blend well.
  • You can also use slices of oranges and add them to the pitcher with other ingredients. 
  • To avoid getting your drink full of orange or lemon seeds, place a fine strainer over the pitcher before squeezing those two fruits. 
  • You can also use fresh pineapple squeezed juice instead of avoiding the packed one.
