Beyond the usual, coffee now offers more than just the traditional combination of milk and sugar. Lattes, cappuccinos, espressos, and a variety of other delectable brews are now available as coffee options. Now, there are several choices. For instance, the Rose Latte is not your typical cup of coffee or tea.

The delightful and calming Beetroot Rose Latte is a hot beverage that is vegan, and free of refined sugar and caffeine. The earthy sweetness of earthy beets and the delicate scent of roses are combined in this gorgeously pink latte to create a very soothing and delicious beverage.

Beetroot is loaded with nutrients. Thanks to its rich supply of nutrients like glutamine, iron, vitamin B9, antioxidants, and more, it offers advantages for gut and heart health, detoxifying, reducing inflammation, and menstrual support. Spices are added to this beverage to create a warm, pleasant touch.

The Beetroot Rose Latte, sometimes referred to as the Red Velvet Latte, is a creamy and delectable delicacy made with milk, freshly cooked beetroot, cinnamon, coconut sugar, and vanilla flavour. It works well as a calming winter beverage or a great substitute for coffee in the mornings.

The Beetroot Rose Latte has a delicate beetroot and rose flavour, as well as a delicious combination of maple, and coconut flavours. It becomes a light, creamy, and velvety texture when almond milk is frothed and used as a garnish. This vegan latte is best taken in the morning to increase energy and stamina. Consumed 3–4 hours prior to physical exercise, it can improve performance.

Here's how you can make this latte at home:

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon dried rose petals
  • 1/2 cup milk (dairy or plant-based, like almond, soy, or oat)
  • 1/4 teaspoon beetroot powder (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup (adjust to taste)

Method:

  • Make sure the dried rose petals you use are of culinary quality. To get rid of any dirt or pollutants, give them a gentle rinse under cold water.
  • The milk should be heated in a small saucepan over low to medium heat until it is warm but not boiling. Alternatively, you can microwave it for one to two minutes in a microwave-safe container.
  • The hot milk should now have the dried rose petals added. Let them steep for around 5–7 minutes. This will provide a wonderful rose flavour and scent to the milk.
  • After steeping, filter the milk to get rid of the rose petals with a fine-mesh sieve or a tea strainer. Gently press the petals to release any last flavours.
  • Add the beetroot powder to a different bowl or cup.
  • Pour the milk infused with roses into the mug that contains the beetroot powder gradually. To completely incorporate the ingredients, stir continually. Your latte will acquire its distinctive pink colour as a result.
  • Stir the latte while adding 1 teaspoon of maple syrup, adjusting the amount of sweetness to your preference. If necessary, taste and add more.
  • For a creamier texture and frothy top, you can froth the rose beetroot latte if you have a milk frother. If not, a whisk can be used to thoroughly combine it.
  • The rose-beetroot latte should be poured into a cup or mug. If you want, you can add some dried rose petals as a garnish for a beautiful touch.
  • Enjoy the beautiful floral and earthy flavours of your handcrafted rose beetroot latte with a touch of sweetness from the maple syrup by sipping it gently.
