Bananacue: The Popular Sticky Banana Street Food Of Philippines

A popular street food of the Philippines includes bananas. The street food is called as Bananacue or banana cue. The term combines some words from banana and the other from barbecue. Bananacue is made from caramelising deep fried bananas that are coated in sugar. The Bananacue are a delicious snack that are skewered on a bamboo stick and sold in the streets of Philippines. The skewer stick is just for the ease of serving and eating, but the dish is however, not really cooked on a skewer. The bananas used in making Bananacue are Saba bananas, which is a variety of bananas that are commonly found in the Philippines.
