Congratulations are in order for actor Athiya Shetty and cricketer KL Rahul, who wed on January 23, 2023, in a romantic ceremony at Athiya's Khandala family home. After dating for approximately three years, the two got married, and their supporters and fans couldn't be happier.
Everyone in the film industry, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, and Kartik Aryan, as well as Vicky Kaushal and Akshay Kumar, wished the newlyweds well. While the couple shared some stunning pictures from the wedding, we wondered if the menu was designed keeping in mind Athiya’s love for food!
For the unaware, Athiya loves to devour all things deliciously. Shetty enjoys all types of food, from a simple thali to a full-fledged charcuterie board.
Here is a list of her favourite dishes:
1. Rajma Chawal
Rajma chawal is comfort food for many people, including Athiya. In an ask-me-anything session on Instagram, the "Nawabzaade" actor revealed how she loves to nosh upon the classic Indian combination of kidney beans and rice.
2. Pancakes
Athiya once revealed how her Sundays are all about wolfing down some sweet pancakes. Sharing a picture of a stack of pancakes topped with blueberries and chocolate spread, Athiya wrote, "Sunday sweets."
3. Vada Pav
Like a true Mumbaikar, Athiya also loves vada pav, a bun-like bread stuffed with a deep-fried potato patty and slathered with chilli powder and chutney. With the tantalising flavours it offers, we are not surprised that she enjoys them thoroughly.
4. Spaghetti Arrabbiata
Athiya loves her carbs as much as her healthy foods, and if there’s a plateful of delicious spaghetti arrabbiata in front of her, there is no way she will hold back.
5. Ice Cream
Athiya has a soft spot for desserts, and a scoop of ice cream is one of her top favourites. And her preferred flavour is not a classic vanilla or chocolate, but a combination of banana and strawberry!
6. Bowl Of Fruits And Berries
When it comes to breakfast, Athiya prefers to load up on fruits, including papaya, melon, and pineapples. She once shared a picture of her breakfast bowl with these fruits; it was followed by another bowl of fruits, which she called her "bowl of happiness," consisting of berries such as strawberries, cranberries, and blueberries.
