If there is one Indian actor who constantly gives us food goals and helps us overcome any guilt we may have about indulging in the most decadent of dishes, it is Ashish Vidyarthi. The veteran actor, who has recently been in the news due to his second marriage to Rupali Barua, is well known as a foodie. If you haven’t seen his incredible food posts on Instagram, then you don’t know what you are missing—and if you have, then his most recent post will have you drooling.

In a recently posted video, Ashish Vidyarthi can be seen enjoying a full feast of Goan food. “Goan Food Is Amazing,” he writes in the post. “Prawn Balchao, Pomfret Recheado & Goan Rice.” The video itself shows Ashish Vidyarthi giving us a glimpse of the dishes in question. At the very beginning of the video itself, he said: “That was tangy, aah hah!”

In case you have never tasted Goan food, you should know that dishes from the region are distinctly tangy because of the use of vinegar or kokum. This is something Ashish Vidyarthi points out in the post. He also remarks that there are dried prawns in the Balchao, which does add to the flavour of the dish. “The Prawn Balchao is amazing. I wonder how they make it,” he says, then adds that it is “the magic of vinegar”. The Goan Rice, he says, is also just as delicious. “Goan food is always fabulous!”

The dishes Ashish Vidyarthi is seen indulging in are typical Goan non-vegetarian favourites that sing with the flavours of coconuts, tangy vinegar and spicy chillies. The entire post can inspire any foodie to indulge in these Goan cuisine delicacies. After watching the video, are you too craving some Goan delights? If yes, then try out some Goan recipes today!
