Arjun Kapoor’s Weekend Meal Is Healthy And Comforting

It is known that actor Arjun Kapoor had to shed several kilos before entering Bollywood. During his weight-loss journey, not only did he exercise but fixed his food habits. The good part is, he continues to follow it to date.

The self-confessed foodie, who literally had no self-control when it came to food earlier, is now an inspiration for fitness enthusiasts. He continues to share his daily nibbles and quick bites in his Instagram stories, and his recent indulgence did not surprise us too. The Ek Villain Returns actor was seen gorging on a plateful of chicken and rice. As much as the dish looked comforting and wholesome, we know that it would have been healthy too.

On the plate, one could see long-grained jeera rice paired with masala chicken. The was covered in herbs and a lot of spices but was relatively dry, like a semi-thick gravy. He captioned it with a sticker saying, “Sunday", and that was all that was needed for us to assume that he had a delightful weekend lunch yesterday. However, this isn’t the first time we’ve spotted Arjun with good food.

Earlier this year, during Navroz, the actor received a delicious Dhansak and mutton curry from his co-actor and friend, Tara Sutaria to celebrate the festival. His sister, Anshula Kapoor, loved the dish so much that she went on to say that this is the “best Dhansak” she’s had till date. During the shoot of the same film, both Tara and Arjun would satiate their cravings for burgers and pizzas in between shots and well, that was absolutely relatable to all the foodies out there.

Even during his vacations with beau, Malaika Arora, he has been seen enjoying delectable food, right from home-cooked meals to regional authentic cuisines and decadent desserts. The couple matches each other’s foodie quotient on a super max level and we guess that’s how it should be.
