Apple Blueberry Recipe: A Quick Breakfast Is On The Way

How can you make apple blueberry for a delicious breakfast? 

Ingredients

3 large apples

2 tablespoon whole wheat flour

2 tablespoon brown sugar

½ teaspoon crushed cinnamon

1 cup frozen blueberries

1 teaspoon vanilla extract 

For topping: 

½ cup walnuts ( finely chopped )

1/2 cup oatmeal

2 tablespoons of brown sugar

2 tablespoons of whole wheat flour

2 tablespoons of crushed flaxseed

½ teaspoon of crushed cinnamon

Half teaspoon of salt

2 tablespoons of canola oil

Recipe: 

  • Preheat the oven to 400° F. 
  • Cut the apples into small squares. ( you can use peeled or unpeeled apples as per your preference and taste )
  • Take a large bowl to prepare the mixture. Put apples, brown sugar, flour, vanilla, and cinnamon and stir. Gently mix the blueberries in the bowl.
  • Place the apple mixture in an “8 x 8" pan or dish and set aside.
  • Now, for the topping, take some nuts, oats, brown sugar, flour, flaxseeds, cinnamon, and salt in a medium bowl and stir. Add oil and stir until oatmeal is coated well. Spread the topping evenly over the apple mixture.
  • Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the apple turns golden brown and tender.

Tip: Fill each serving with frozen vanilla low-fat yogurt or whipped cream.
