A few days ago, Nita Ambani was spotted in Varanasi offering the first wedding card at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Right from there, she headed to the city’s most famous Kashi Chaat Bhandar to savour tamatar chaat. Located on Dashashwamedh Road, it is one of the oldest shops in Varanasi serving lip-smacking chaat delicacies.
Its one-page menu features tamatar chaat, pani puri, dahi bhalla, plain sohal, kulfi faluda, bhalla papdi, mix chaat, dahi puri, chura matar, papdi chaat, samosa, and gulab jamun. Any tourist who visits Varanasi will be advised to check out the shop and its menu. The dishes here will leave your taste buds tantalised.
According to reports, Kashi Chaat Bhandar will also cater at the Anant Ambani-Radhika Merchant wedding. Can you imagine fitness-conscious celebrities gulping down one pani puri after the other while ordering a variety of chaat from the stall? Reports also suggest that Nita Ambani personally decided the menu for this section, and it will also include palak chaat, tikki, and chana kachori.
